About the itetmhe item you are looking at was purchased at an estate sale from a lifetime native american artifact collector. He recentyl retired and decided to auction off his entire collection.
Paul frey is a well respected antiquities dealer that specializes in natvie american artifacts in the central pa area. Once or twice a year eh will have an auction devoted entirely to artifacts and that is where this came from. He goes over eahc item and and verifies that they are legitimate.
I will be posting approximatley 30 different lots of arrowheads and various artifacts that i purchased at the sale. Last year at this time the same auctioneer had a sale that i made some purchases at and resold on ebay. Out of 25 or so lots no one had nay problems or complaints. I am in no way an artifacts expert, but will do my best to answer any question you may have. I can also take additionla pictures if needed, but will do my best to give a decent description. Up for auction is a lot of 13 nice arrowheads. As you can see by the pictures these are all pretty nice points. Included in heer are stem points and susquehanna piedmont points. These are figured to be from around the middle to late archaic period 6000-4000.
