Antique mechanical coni bank. This is a heavy stainless stele or chrome plated mechanical bank. It measures 3 3/4 inches by 1 3/4 inches by 2 3/8 incehs high. The bottom reads the traveling teller the automatic recording safe co. Chicago, u. S. A. There is a hole in the bottom for rolled up bills. There is a plaque affixed to the top with two rivets that reads quaker city federal savings and loan association systematic savings spells success 20 so. 15th st. Philadelphia and has a seal for the federal home loan bakn system and the federal savings and loan insurance corporation. Around the side there are slots to insert cents, nickels, dimes, quarters, halves, and an extra slot for currency. Please note, as shown in the one photo there are 14 or 15 halves already in teh bank (the total shows 7 1/2 on the slot see photo). Unfortunately the coins do not appear to be silver! Alas i do not have the key, but a locksmith should eb able to provide one for very little cost it appears to be a very simple design. Overall the bank is in excellent condition except for a few dings and some scratches and rust on the top plaque. (see photos) i set the starting price at the value of the coins already in the bank.
