The only markings are '3316' it may be 'sterile'. But i know a mauser rifle bayonet when i see one! I had gotten this one a long time ago when i was more into vintage military gear. The shiny blade has long blood gutter 'fullers', and is 9 3/4 long. The absolutely unmarked blade is nice & clean. The only markings are on the crossguard serial number only -.
'3316'. The hardwood grips aer well worn but intact. Bayonet lug catch works fine. Overall length is about 14 1/2. This auction includes the original sheath (minor denting) & solid long-drop ('mad max' style) leather bayonet belt frog / carrier.
